Long weekend

Yesterday my boys went camping and fishing with grandpa max for a boy bonding time. So kialee and I hung out and watched movies and went to dinner just the two of us. But needless to say neither of us slept without our boys here. So after a long night we are excited for them to come home. :)

summer fun

Just an update on what our family is doing these days. Summer is here and we have been enjoying the fun activities that comes with that. So far we have played at the park and gone swimming in the Howard Amon wading pool. Then we have go to the free movie in the park and the free movies at the local Theater. We have also been busy working in yards and having fun with the neighbor kids. This coming month our plans are pretty much the same but we get to throw in there the fun of having family come to town and possibly a weekend camping trip if we are lucky enough for Thad to have a weekend off without yard work to do.

June 14th, 2010

It has been a while since Ive updated this site. I figured since I no longer have a Facebook account due to a virus from it I would start using this. Thad is still working on his degree for criminal justice and should be finished by January. Devon has turned four and is loving it. He had is first friend birthday party and we went to the zoo for the first time for his bday weekend. Thad and I are expecting our second baby which has for the most part been an interesting pregnancy compared to the last. luckily things seem to be getting better and little baby, as devon like to call it, is still doing good. Other than that life is same ole same ole. Thad is still working with buses, and I am still watching kids. Devon is still adorable and goofy. hes newest phrase is "Hello squash" when he sees family. its funny to listen to.

Pospical Update.

So we have been super busy since last I wrote. Lets see First Devon turned 3, Then Thad Started school at the U. of Phoenix for his degree in criminal justice. We both started a project for mom p redoing the Khun house yard (its looking awesome). Just recently I have started to watch babies for some extra income. Right now Dev and I are playing single parent for a week while Thad is hunting in Montana with Alex and C. Now we are concentrating on Christmas and figuring out how to make it work for the cates side since my mom had foot surgery.

Where does time go?

Isn't life funny how one minute it seems to be dragging and then the next you are wondering where the time has gone. Thad and I are coming up on our 5 year anniversary. In that five years we have had many work changes, One new Baby boy and two new puppies. the most recent puppy is Sammie, she is a Boston terrier doberman mix. We like to call her a bossyman. We have also bought a house that we are loving fixing up. But as I look forward I cant wait to have many more wonderful changes.

I just wanted to say...

Sad Day :(

Today I found out that one of my most favorite people from my home ward has past away. It started me thinking about the important things in life and how sometimes we take things for granted. Now I know that this person was really old, about 104 to be exact, but still what a sad thing it is to lose a friend. I hope that everyone takes time to think of those important to them. Love to you all.

Wow where has the year gone? It seems just like yesterday that we were entering into 2008 and now here it is 2009! Well I hope all is well with everyone. Here is a quick review of the younger popsicle family:

Big trip of the year was to Kfalls oregon where we played games and had fun with my extended family.

I left amazon.com in April to stay home with Devon and save money on Daycare.

Devon turned two this year and of course we had his bday party on the hotest day of the year... in May.

We started and finished our front yard over the summer.

And that is pretty much all the big stuff that we did in 2008. Hopefully 2009 will bring new adventures and more fun and exciting trips.
